Dear parents,

Please be aware that due to the undercover area now being open (YAY!!!!!) that the whole school is now running on the same bell times. As a result there have been some adjustments to our timetables:

• Italian is now on Monday from 12pm-1pm.
• Phys Ed is now on Fridays from 2pm-3pm (The children are very excited to end the week with this!)

As a result our class will now wear their sports uniform on Thursday and Friday, and their regular summer uniform on Monday – Wednesday.

Make sure you are keeping up to date with updates as we quickly approach the end of the year, as there is a lot going on.

Hi parents,

Just a quick update to keep you informed of what’s happening at school since it’s moving so quickly – we’re already over halfway through the term which is scary!

The students have completed a piece of art for the P&F fundraiser and they are looking great! Your child should have taken their artwork and an order form home by now for you to look at. Orders are due by November 20, so please make sure you have them in by then if you wish to buy one. Further information can be found on the order form but please feel free to see me if you have any questions about them.

Also, St Columba’s School is once again participating in the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Christmas Appeal in the hope of providing some happiness and enjoyment at Christmas. Each year will be collecting donations of non-perishable food, or gift vouchers, for the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal.  These food items and gift vouchers will be made into hampers, which will be given to local families who are in need of food and support during the Christmas period. Please make sure you bring in your non-perishable items in by Monday 27th November at the latest. Thank you very much for your support and generosity.

It’s expected that all children will be there on the night to perform and showcase all of their hard work with ‘Dancing Dorothy’. I’ve been blown away by what they can all do – I’m sure you will be too!

If your child will be unable to attend for a legitimate reason, please let me know ASAP so arrangements can be made.
